That's an awesome shot.

Here are some of my nudibranchs, which I think is latin for fancy underwater slugs...kidding, I believe it means "naked gills".

I have some extension tubes that I find very fussy to use. I'll pull them out again, Nancy.
#1 is a "hack" - I used a 50mm lens, detached and held in reverse over the lens opening. Not easy to find a "sweet spot". This is a leaf point on a bone china flower centerpiece. The others are of parts of log taken today using a smart phone and the Camera+ app in macro mode.

I really like these, nice work Pat!

I bought an adapter that allows me to install my nifty fifty backwards on my Z6ii. Interesting and fun!

Thanks. My original was a Kodachrome slide from the distant past, probably 1980s. The old slide was MACRO PHOTOGRAPHED and processed in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop.

The first and last of your post are superb, but I like them all.

Thank you!

I haven't had any real macro experience; my equipment limits me to "close-up," really, but I have found it fun to get close and see minor details not easily visible from any distance. Cropping helps bring us in closer also. Here are a few done in local gardens and trails.

Wonderful series, like that bumble bee in the first one!
