Thanks to all for the kind words. Plus or minus 5 minutes or so and the lighting and colors would most likely be different due to the angle of the Sun.

Caught this out the front door this afternoon. I think the contrast between the Sun on some trees, and not others, plus the rainbow, is pretty neat.

This was a beautiful Fall day in the Black Hills. I was getting ready to hike to the top of Black Elk Peak (name change from Harney Peak).

The lake has interesting rock formations. Well worth the trip.

Excellent. My wife and I stayed in a B&B near the base of Castle Rock. I believe I see the tip of Castle Rock as well as the Priest and Nuns formation in the background. Spectacular environment.
