Even though I no longer own a Canon, I owned many of them in the film era. I did skydiving photo and video for nearly 20 years and always used Canon. I will never say anything bad about that brand. Canon does not make junk!
In the film days, my favorite medium format was the Pentax 6 by 7. It was a real tank and very heavy to carry. Several years ago I bought the digital Pentax 645 Z. I used it exclusively for landscape work, and it out performed my several dslrs by quite a bit in terms of detail and sharpness.
