Three brothers are charged with raping a 10-year-old Louisiana girl who locked herself in a bedroom when they offered her money for sex, police said.
Two of the suspects, identified as Raul Paz-Perez and Wilmer Paz-Perez, both 35, were arrested Saturday on a charge of first-degree rape involving a juvenile under the age of 13, Kenner police said.
A third brother, 31-year-old Elder Paz-Perez, is still being sought as of early Tuesday on the same charge, Lt. Michael Cunningham told The Post.
“We don’t know where he is,” Cunningham said. “He may be out of state.”
Elder Paz-Perez is the boyfriend of the 10-year-old girl’s mother. He and his brothers had been living with the girl and her family, including her 15-year-old sister and two stepsiblings, at the time of the alleged attack, Cunningham said.
The three brothers were alone with the 10-year-old girl at a home in Kenner on Wednesday when they made sexual advances toward her, offering her money for sex acts, Cunningham said.
The young girl locked herself in a bedroom, but one of the brothers managed to bust inside, Cunningham said.
“After defeating the lock, the three entered the room, undressed the victim, held her down and sexually assaulted her,” Kenner police said in a statement.
Days later, the girl told a relative, who then reported the alleged attack to authorities on Saturday. Raul and Wilmer Paz-Perez were arrested later that day, police said.

Detectives are also looking into whether Elder Paz-Perez sexually assaulted the 15-year-old sister of the 10-year-old girl after she “made a disclosure” to investigators about an incident a few years earlier, Cunningham said.
Two stepsiblings of the 10-year-old girl are also being interviewed by detectives to see if they were victimized as well, Cunningham said.
Raul and Wilmer Paz-Perez were being held without bail Tuesday at the Jefferson Parish Correctional Center, online records show.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainers have also been placed on Raul and Wilmer Paz-Perez, who are originally from Honduras and were in the US illegally. The immigration status for Elder Paz-Perez was unclear early Tuesday, Cunningham said.

Despite her vocal opposition to building border walls to keep Americans safe from i*****l i*********n, Democrat Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is having an eight-foot high, electrified fence built around her official residence to keep out unwanted visitors.
The fence is just one part of a $1.1 million, taxpayer-funded security upgrade to the governor’s residence, The Detroit Free Press reports:
In recent weeks, crews have been working to build what appears to be an eight-foot-tall fence around the governor's residence property. Last week, a sign on the site where crews were on the job warned, "Danger. High voltage. Unauthorized persons keep out."
“It's unclear how much is being spent on the perimeter fencing that's being installed,” the paper reports.
As The Washington Free Beacon notes, Gov. Whitmer has called the construction of barriers on the U.S. borders too costly and ineffective:
Whitmer, a Biden surrogate, has attacked the idea of using barriers to prevent i*****l i*********n. She called President Donald Trump's border wall "costly and ineffective" in February 2017, nearly a week after suggesting that money for the wall would be better spent elsewhere.
"$40 BILLION for the wall," Whitmer tweeted. "Think how many kids that would educate, how many roads, bridges and pipes it would fix."
Whitmer also campaigned against Trump's wall in 2018, saying, "it is time we get back to building bridges, not walls."

Longview, TX – Bodycam footage captured the moment that an armed robbery suspect jumped out of a stolen vehicle and pointed a handgun at police (video below).
The incident occurred outside an apartment complex at 1600 Pine Tree Road on Aug. 7, according to a custodial death report compiled by the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Longview police had received a report of a trespassing call at another location, and noted that the vehicle involved in that incident had been reported as stolen in an aggravated robbery incident on Aug. 2.
When Longview Police Officer John Collier and Officer Jason Kelley spotted the suspect vehicle at the apartment complex, they stopped to see if it was occupied, according to the report.
The driver, later identified as 18-year-old Detravian Allison, stepped out of the car and refused to comply with the officers’ verbal commands, the attorney general’s office said. He was holding a handgun in his right hand, bodycam footage showed.
“Get on the ground right now,” one officer told him, just as Allison pointed the firearm at him.
The two officers immediately opened fire, hitting Allison four times, KYTX reported. The gunman collapsed onto the ground, dropping his weapon, bodycam footage showed.
