Hello. I'm looking to buy a used in very good condition Sony Full Frame wide angle lens or a zoom 16-35mm. Thanks. Dave
MOH Carpenter was saluted by the Commandant. If you watch closely, you will see that both the Commandant and SMJ stand at attention while the citation is read. Thereafter, the Commandant presents the flag to MOH Carpenter and at this point the Commandant salutes MOH Carpenter as military tradition dictates. Very well done.
Just fantastic shots...sitting here with envy. Thanks for sharing.
Very nice photos. Now I am curious, which old Helios lens did you use?
Just had to smile, so very cute.
Some of the best photos ever captured are just a "fleeting moment." Your picture captured a mood more memorable than the usual sun-filled ones often seen. Nice work.
Photos are taken in bright, sunny days which means SEE and BE SEEN. The reality is that NO ONE can maintain altitude and air speed, look out for other aircraft and still take pictures. Photography and piloting...two skills best done by two different folks. There was a very experienced CFI (certified flight instructor) with over 11,000 hours who took several folks for a "low and slow" ride when he stalled at low altitude.....the only pictures taken were by the coroner and investigators.

I spent a great deal of time in the D.C. area and it's a town where "wider is better." There is virtually nothing a lens longer than 70mm would be used for. The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, The Mall, The Vietnam Memorial, Korean Memorial and beautiful World War II Memorial can truly be captured by a wide lens. In those settings, a telephoto would be practically useless. Just my humble opinion based upon personal experience. Enjoy your trip.
Truly beyond wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Hello. I have been throughout Italy many times, and frankly see no need for the long lens. You will never need a long lens in any of the cities, towns or villages. If anything, the wider the better, not the longer. Just my personal opinion from experience.
Very nice shot....wondering what size lens you used?
What wonderful shots...great work. I am somewhat curious about the athleticism of shot number 5. All the other pictures speak for themselves.
Yours is a classic "perfect" photo.
