Hi Hedgehogs
I have an extremely clean Toyo 45CX view camera for sale. All adjustments, cams, etc. work smoothly and without issue. It has a clean back with ground glass and all metal surfaces have very little sign of wear. Included will be a Rodenstock Geronar 210mm f6.8 in a Copal No.1 shutter (settings sound accurate).

Additional accessories include;
1. 24" cable release
2. Manfrotto tripod (video type)
3. Gossen Luna Pro light meter
4. Meyer Gorlitz Anastigmat 135mm f 4.5 (Compur shutter)
5. Schneider Kreuznach Xenar 150mm f3.5 (Compur)

The Compur shutters on the Gorlitz and Schneider lenses do not have dependable shutter settings but can be used effectively with slow films and small aperture/fast shutter speed combinations with a black card.
I will also include some outdated Ectachrome 64, 100, and (I think) Fuji Velvia 100 film which has been kept in the fridge.

I think this is an exceptional deal at $375. You can PM me for photos and I'll follow up ASAP.

Sarge...thanks for your considered commentary. I have been back and forth trying to decide whether to see this film due to comments from both sides of the fence. This information has solidified my resolve to attend the next showing. I too am very concerned about where this president is taking us as a nation and believe that we have an opportunity to change from this detrimental course at a critical time in history. Thanks for your courage in posting.

Hi Fred...first, thank you for your "servant's heart". I feel it's rare to find someone with a genuine desire to share the experience and knowledge of their years. I am now 60 and have been out of work for over two years. I have been in customer service/call center positions previously but have no real desire to continue in that capacity (although I am very much aware of our economic environment and that "beggars can't be choosers"). I have a part-time position beginning the first of the year as a high school teacher mentoring ninth grade boys but feel I could benefit from any information you can provide. Thanks so much for making a difference.

VERY inventive idea! I'm sure this could be done but would have to be a very stout focusing track as this is a heavy lens. Thanks for the suggestion.

I have a Helioprint 213mm lens which, I believe is an enlarging or graphics lens. I originally intended to use it on an 8X10 view camera with slow films and small f stops (using no shutter, rather a black card). 8X10 film is now cost-prohibitive for me and I am wondering if there are any sales venues outside of Ebay or KEH anyone would recommend for selling an item like this or if anyone of you out there in UHH land would be interested.

#1 is definitely very cool but was drawn to #2 because of the lighting FX, the saturation (which I found exceptional) and the composition (once again the interest is on the eye). I also liked #5 very much because of the angle and aperture (bokeh). Very nice job.

Thanks for the direction. I didn't realize the subject had already been addressed. I'll check this out!

First, let me thank all the UHH members who have provided assistance with questions in the past and for the inspiration and encouragement for some of the images I have been able to make as a result.
I need some feedback regarding a gallery; I was recently contacted (through no initiation of my own) by a representative of Agora Gallery in NYC art district regarding my portfolio on the Zenfolio site. They offer numerous services including consultation, exposure in NYC (Chelsea art area), and gallery showing including one-man show, if desired.
They require a submission of five images for evaluation to be selected for representation.
My question is...has anyone in the UHH community been involved or had any experience with this gallery and, if so, what was your impression?
Thanks in advance for your help folks!

#'s 5, 14, and 18 are my faves. As an ex-surfer, if that bears any weight, those are the ones I would pick. The others are great as well but those numbers I would call "bitchin' dude"!
