Really cute pup. My wife and me have two, but they both enjoy posing LOL.

If I grab a flash I don't see her the rest of the day, she has her "safe"spots in the house, LOL! Thanks for the comment.

You need a pocket camera. I use a Sony RX100M5.

Nice camera ... and you are right, it is a pocket camera you can take and use almost anywhere. I have a Fuji X100F that I like too. I just normally don't take my cameras with me when I walk the dog. Maybe I should.

Distracted by the traffic below, I was able to get two quick shots off before she realized I had the camera pointed at her. After that, all I could get was shots from the rear ... LOL!

Coincidentally they have the same birthday, but Ollie is 2yrs and 10 months, Bella 10 months. Both are Golden Doodles and they get along great with each other. Shots taken with D500/85mm f1.4D lens.

Neighbor has a doodle. What a neat dog.

Any child who comes from a photographer's family develops a couple of "Picture Faces" - looks like even dogs do!

At least he didn't run from you as mine does. I swear she is a reincarnated Native American who thinks having her picture taken steals its soul.

Nice capture!

I am in your condition at 74, with my D4 and D850. I bought the Z7 w/24-70 f4 and it is my new walk-around camera that has fixed all my hand holding problems. You might prefer the Z6, which might be a closer match to the D750. IBIS and VR are outstanding! I don't know exactly what all the II models are going to bring to the table, but the 6&7 will definitely drop in price by New Year.

I've read five pages of comments and just about all are giving you something to think about (except the total gym post, LOL). If you are using the camera mainly for street photography I would suggest as Mark did a Sony RX10 ... light and gives you a full range. Another suggestion is the Fuji X100F (now out is the V) which you can pick up on Craig's List. I bought my X100F used on Craig's list a year ago for $500 and love it as a point and shoot. It also has the bells and whistles if you so desire to have total control over what the camera does.

It was strictly TV, though, wasn't it?

EDIT: You made me curious.

Yes (made for TV) it was, and for somebody who has driven those long stretches of almost deserted hiways it was one scary movie.

Dare I say, art? Yeah, I'll say it. You did excellently on this piece of art.

Thank you. I try. Most I throw way because of soft focus (me trying to get the shot and shaking the camera while pressing the shutter button). This one I was able to take my time. I did get off three shots, I like this best.

I like this shot.

Thanks. I have another capture in mind, but whenever I see them I'm usually without my camera. It happens rarely but one day I will get that shot.

Very cool! Lines, texture, design, activity. You got it all :-)

Thanks for the comment. I cross that bridge every day walking my dog. Been waiting to get just the right image to share. I love how it comes across as a "caged" element.

Nice one, T. That's an interesting effect.

I cross that walking bridge every day walking the dog. I've taken pictures through the chain links a number of times. Even tried to get some neat effects, all to no avail. I had my camera with me to take other pics in the neighborhood when this guy was there running up and down the ramps. Good exercise. Snapped him quickly and moved on. This rona thing is driving me nuts. Used to go out every weekend, now I'm just at home. Camera sitting in the bag. Gotta get some use out of it. The dog runs and hides every time I pick it up.

Usually I say something about how much better color is than b/w except in texture, lines and shapes. I think in this photos, color would've not brought out the lines as well as b/w does.
Excellent shot

There really wasn't much color in this image. All greys. I'm not afraid to post color street shots if I think it makes for a better image. Thanks for the reply.
