I'm experimenting with using Levels instead of the HDR panel in Capture One. Which (if any!) do you like better?

Thanks,

Ben

They are both excellent but I prefer the slightly darker tone in the first one.

This mansion was as beautiful inside as it is outside.
A wonderful library with a second story balcony surrounding the room with wrought iron railing.

It is truly remarkable and you captured it well.

I like the high contrast and the sky not being blown out.

This old grain elevator is located in eastern Nebraska. Digital capture, converted in ACR/PS.

Excellent image for B&W. I love these old buildings and this one has a variety of texture. Nice shot

Looks like he could use a double shot straight up, interesting catch.

These were shot in Tuscany, primarily Florence, several years ago. Some may have been posted previously in a different forum.

Very nice set. Excellent street images. Your composition is great. Thanks for sharing.

Taken in morning with partial sunlight with 35 mm lens at f/8 on a rangefinder

Is this on a film rangefinder? I have a few of them I really enjoy.

Definitely looks like a place I'd like to retreat to. Nice composition and tone control.

Sky is original. Nothing in the image was added or deleted.

Ain't nothing like being in the right place at the right time. You captured this one well, I like the PP. The download is really nice.

This is part of a series I'm working on sporadically - "Forgotten Places". There are a number of such spots around here – the property is not in such great demand as on, say, Long Island, so it's easier to let time and the elements do their job.

Taken with my Samsung Galaxy J2, Black Cam app, "sepia'd" later.

Nice shot, the sepia works well here. One of these days these old buildings will be gone and these photos will be all we have.

Nice shot, I'm a fan of high contrast. You got the contrast in both the tonal range and the subject matter.

Nice work for a night shot. The color is cool but I prefer the B&W on this one.

Nice shot Voss. The frame works out well, the reflection of the car in the window is interesting. For the mood, I prefer the B&W.

I posted the original color version in the photo gallery, but I also like it in B/W and hope you will too. . .

I like it, the B&W put the emphasis on the artist and the activity rather than the product.
