Took a trip down the glen and thought I would share some favorites.
If I did not already have the D300 + 18-200mm lens and wasn't waiting for a good deal on a D3, I'd buy this as a 2nd body and give the lens to my daughter. Good deal!
Great lens! I have one also. Did you replace it with 70-200 2.8 and another wide angle?
New Britain, CT (about 30 min. Northeast)

Here are 3 more. The trick is to go in to the show to be next to the cars and see the interiors, but to wait outside the show until the end to get individual photos of the exteriors. 1/2 hr time vs 2 hours of walking. (Ha, Ha)
Great event with 300+ cars. Definitely a photo op
Thanks for pointing out my 70-... Actually, it's a 70-300, not a 70-800 (whatever that is). I'll look into the Bower and crop as necessary.
Much appreciated reply! I had gone on an eagle watch with a camera club in central CT, but none of us had the proper lens to capture a lone eagle some 200 yds away. I'll just have to get lucky in the future or get the doubler and a lens that can handle the situation.
I really like #1. Would like to have seen one without the sun shining through for an even better effect. Thanks for sharing!
What lens were you using? Nice shots!!! Were some cropped?
Thought I would share some and hope you will do the same.
