As I post this image this morning, it is currently -15° here with a windchill of -32. Getting a little chilly here in north western Montana. However, the cold and frost does have its own intrinsic beauty. Viewing this in download will give a better experience. Stay warm friends.

Occasionally I see a photo on UHH that I wish I had made, this is one Tommy! I love the way my eye travels between the barn and the beautiful colors of the frosty topped grass in the bottom left. Just wonderful,

This was the view after plowing my way to the road this morning.

Neighbor's house on the left.

I hope folks take the time to view this in download, it is beautiful! But...you are going to need a bigger snowplow.

Like the top where you can see the produce of this saw in the cut boards.
Makes one wonder, with the age of this tool, how many Other things have been sawn asunder ??/

Thank you, mindzye for this thoughtful comment. It is very satisfying when a viewer identifies an element that was a very deliberate part of the composition.

The escalator going into the void suggested so many scenarios. It just piqued my interest. B&W seemed to emphasize the unknown atmosphere. Probably getting a little dramatic here but that's the way I saw it.

Well seen and shot, this is wonderful! Yes, B&W for sure. This is unapologetic drama, thank you!

Thank you, Tom. That is a high compliment, and it goes right to my intentions, especially in my film days. I appreciate your visit.

Some things are more "photogenic" than others; meaning they have more appeal for me. Dollars to donuts that saw is a Disston. Thank you for sharing a great image.

I am with you on the notion that Henery's name is still there under all that rust. Thanks for the kind visit RodeoMan!

Great shot. Especially in the download.

Thank you, Ken. I had not touched these negatives in more than fifty years prior to scanning them this summe. I am so impressed with what can be done in the digital dark room.

Poor saw, great eye and shot

Thank you, Jack. Fifty years down the road and I still think the handle may have been worth saving.
