Just was wondering if any pros out there have taken a painting class to enhance their photographic skills. If so what was the nature of the class and how did it help. Thanks
Thanks Billy Bob...I am probably going to sell the printer and maybe get a smaller one for the 8x10s to 16x14. I will check out your web site info. This is exactly what I needed. Not many real pros using this site I guess. Thanks Very much. My web site is www.richardraul.com. If you don't mind I would like to see your work too. Take care. Rich
I use XP and have no problems. Good to know win 7 presents problems I was going to upgrade and will probably dedicate a computer to running the printer if I keep it. Thanks
what a great photo. His kids and grand kids will love it
After looking a bit closer to your pics the only thing I can see is what seems like a couple of blood veins on her lower legs in the BW photo. I would PS them. Its a bit distracting...but I still think it is fabulous work. She is a beautiful young woman and the composition, lighting, exposure, sharpness, and bokeh are so great!.
I own an Epson 7600 Pro 24" printer. I am debating if I should sell it or not. The small prints up to 10x12 are inexpensive to purchase from .com labs and with a markup on price are still sell-able but when pricing enlargements the cost skyrockets. I know I can save money on the enlargements by printing them myself and having the printer at my disposal for rush jobs is a positive but I am concerned with the aging process of the hardware. It is already 7 years old or so and has a low sq foot material usage. Has anyone out there had the same dilemma and solved it. I don't want to sell it and then realize that I shouldn't have later on. Any professional advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I am lucky enough to have a part time job where I am exposed to hundreds of dogs. We keep our eye on their health and report any malnutrition and signs of abuse.
I haven't had a chance to examine all the pics closely but you are really good. Kudos to your compositional skills, lighting, posing. You are gonna make some money...
If you haven't tried HDR photography you may want to check it out. If you are shooting Nikon ...more than likely you have a AEB setting (Automatic Exposure Bracketing) There is more to it but if you are interested in capturing the Xmas lights at night after dusk HDR will produce the results you are looking for. Google "HDR Xmas lights" to see some samples and then if you have the time to do some research about HDR try it. It may seem a bit complicated at first but it is a very simple process and the results are beautiful when done correctly. I use Photomatix but there are some other software programs out there too. Photomatix costs about $80-$100. Just a thought.
thanks...they are so fun to shoot...
Thought I would add to the laughter...some of these pics are so funny!!!
Thanks "littlebiddle" for your help. Hoping I am in the right place. I just wanted to share some of the latest dog photos from some shoots taken over the last few months. Dogs are a perfect example of a natural model. Their poses are not always easy to capture but if you spend enough time with them before they tire out there are some really fun and cute poses to capture. So sorry for adding to the boudoir thread earlier. Was not my intention to impose on her thread. I thought she did a fabulous job.
whew!!! thought I killed it.
Ok so sorry...just don't understand how this all works. Was not my intention to step on anyone's toes just wanted to get back to talking photography.
Some my favorite dog pics taken i the last few months.
