What timing! JustJill posrted her bread on Saturday, yesterday my wife made her wonderful Pastry Wreath. Usually does this for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas but she did it for Mother's Day yesterday. I'm not sure that the mother is supposed to do all the work that day but it was nice. Our daughter, son and 4 grandchildren all came to visit which is a rare treat to have them all at once. I did help some. I cooked a turkey

OH, My!! That looks A.Mazing!! Wow!! Luv that kind of stuff!

However, where's da Turkey pics.... That sounds D.Lish also!! Ha!!

I searched for a Semi auto .410
And found this!!
As far. as I know American Tactical is the only semi auto .410 made.
And much cheaper than a Pump or Double barrel and some single shots but not as pretty.
Shoots very well would be a nice squirrel gun, but you would have to come up with a way to block the 5-Rnd.magazine to only hold two rounds to comply with the Missouri hunting regs.

OH! Very nice!! I have no Shot Guns.... THAT one would be interesting to own...although I doubt it would get much use from this city boy!
My home defense items went up a tick this year because The Wife is a bit nervous about how the politics are going around here... she now has her own!! Ha!! Oregon and AZ regs apply to us.

I've bought from American Tactical before.... good transaction!

Thanks for the info here, Manglesphoto!

"Cinnamon Honey Butter." .......OMGosh! One uh my Gra'ma's made her own - the other had store-bought. Both were D-Lish! Although both the G.Maws were a bit salty, so to speak!!

Nice work here, JustJill! Mmmmmm......

Just spinach lasagna that has been one of my dishes going back to bachelorhood.

I do have a tip though. Many of you know that the pasta makers have a lasagna noodle that doesn't have to be boiled ahead of baking. I never use that. When I thaw the frozen chopped spinach in the microwave with a splash of water I don't drain it. I mix it in with the cheeses along with the excess water. I layer regular lasagna noodles uncooked and I also use more of my homemade sauce than normal. The excess water/sauce does a fine job of cooking the noodles. No need to mess with sticky limp noodles and it cuts out the extra step of boiling them.

It's an excellent dish for bachelors, widows/widowers or empty nesters. As long as you have a freezer and a microwave oven pop it in the fridge after eating your first meal. The next day it's firm and easy to cut into several servings and freeze. You can enjoy an easy meal once or twice a week for a month.
