Thank you, Jules. I love the D5. Moved up from a D3s so the differences where pretty noticeable. Handles noise much better and since I shoot a lot of junior hockey in some pretty dimly lit rinks, it was a game changer.

I hear itโ€™s a great camera.

Hi Hoggers:
A nice warm day for this game. Durango won going away 10-0 called after 5 innings.
Shot with a D4 paired with a 200-500 5.6 on 99% of the shots.
A few with D500 paired with a 70-200 2.8 for closer plays like at third or home.
1/3200 at 6.3 for the D4
1/3200 at 4 for the D500
Auto iso
Auto white balance

D500 paired with 70-200 2.8

I almost left but decided tough it out. There was a small rope netting to shoot through and that made it a little more difficult for me and the wind was blowing pretty hard making it move a lot. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Tom

But you did it, that's the main thing. Good stuff.

Hi HOG friends, this is the second game I shot the other day. I shot all of these from the press box. My Diabetic neuropathy kicked in after walking around the first game. I hated that because there is no batter photos. I needed to sit so i went there and shot through the screen. Let me know what you think. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Tom

Like Paul said colors are vibrant, good shots considering where you had to shoot from. Feel better my friend.

A few images from the arena football game April 28th. I was once again reminded of how much I enjoy photographing this game!! The home team beat their PREVIOUSLY unbeaten opponent! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Shot with the Z9 paired with the Tamron 35-150 f2.2-2.8. 1/1250th, f2.8-3.2, ISO 4000.

You have captured the emotion, violence of the game. Great stuff. Shots are exposed right, filled the frame in the camera makes for a beautiful thing.

Tom

Yeah always in the way of a shot. Some are better than others staying out of your way. Price of fame.
