I finally bit the bullet and upgraded. I hate paying the monthly fee but felt I was missing out on upgrades to my computer .
I worked as a news reporter for ten years. My boss had a saying "if you lie to me about aomething I know about I can I believe you on things I don't know".I think it would need to be stated how far the photographer was away from the action.
I am looking for a messenger bag for my camera gear when I don't want to carry my entire back pack and looking for suggestions from those who have had good experience with bags.
Thanks
I recently was asked to take photos of my uncles funeral. I took the opportunity to gather a lot of family photos. The only time most families get together is for a funeral. I would have family gather on the steps in front of the church. They loved the photos.
Of course i did get some photos inside the church
My first attempt at light painting in the Terlingua Cemetery in Terlingua , Texas

I have a problem with my Canon 80 that I hope someone can help me. When I review photos in the camera view finder I have the red focus dots appear on the photo. It's only in the view finder not the actual photo. How do I make this go away?
It just started after fellow photographer"adjusted "my camera for a bird shoot and its driving me crazy.
Help please
Thanks

I am starting to shoot and post more and post photos on social media. I am looking for advice from fellow photographers on Watermarks, both pro and against. Do you watermark your photos why or why not? I am not worried about someone stealing a photo as much as I want the publicity.
Second question if you watermark, which photos do you put your watermark on?
Beautiful photos thanks for sharing.
You could set up an account on a site like smug mug that would allow people to view the photos and even pay to get copies of the photos. That is what I have done and it had worked well for me.
Just getting into the darkroom and I am loving it. I worked in television back in the film days. I remembering bringing film back to be processed and saying it needs to be pushed one stop. Never fully understood the process. What a loss for me.
I want to develop my own prints because it's a lost art, and because I think it will make me a better digital photographer.
I am currently taking a black and white film class and considering setting up my own darkroom. I am looking for advice on how to dispose of used chemicals . I have had several people tell me you can't just pour them down the drain. Anyone have advice they would like to share.
Thanks
