His 10 year old pitcher was really “smoking them”. Almost too hot to handle.

Very cool.

My timing was on for once!

I’m glad your timing was on because that is a lovely picture.
Can you identify the building?

I captured this image at Findlay Market in Cincinnati one winter day. Shot with a Fujifilm X-T2 and Fuji’s 23 mm f/2.0 lens.

Terrific. Beautiful juxtaposition.

Amazing how that works, eh?
And of course everyone is "right"......

Yep.
What I do is right for me, what you do is right for you and what somebody else does is right for them.

I have a camera that has one card slot plus 64gb internal storage. They can be set for overflow, redundancy and one for JPG and the other for DNG (RAW)

The guy said that he can buy a D850 at significantly lower price than the mirrorless counterpart. I don't think so. The Z7ii is the D850 counterpart and is selling for $200 less.
So far the mirrorless doesn't make DSLR more affordable. Nikon doesn't drop a penny on their D6 and it's still more expensive than their Z9 flagship.

I went to Nikon USA yesterday and looked at the DSLRs they had listed. The Df was listed at the same price it was listed at in 2013.

I want three slots!
I'm really skeered that I might loose them on the other two slots.
Maybe I should get four slots.

What in the world did we do for so long with only one card slot.......

I grabbed my D750 and went out to take pictures earlier. When I got home, I removed the SD card and saw that there was only one card in the camera. I had removed the other one to process some pictures, but I didn't replace it. If the camera didn't have a second slot, I would have been out of luck. Of course, I could have opened the SD door to see what was in there before I left. I did check to make sure the battery was good.
I grabbed my D750 and went out to take pictures ea... (show quote)

Once here on UHH someone told me that I must not love my photos because my camera had only one card slot and I couldn’t back up the photos on another card.
Even now I use the second slot for overflow and not backup.
A second card slot is nice, but I don’t think it’s a must. Like bsprague said a spare card (and battery) in the pocket is no problem.
Before digital, film cameras could only hold one roll at a time—no backup.

Neither name is familiar to me. I know people named Bob and James and David, and I heard about Chase and Sanborn coffee. I lead a reclusive life. Still, I hate hearing about prominent people passing away.

If you have some free time and like the kind of music on the album I posted the link to, check them out on YouTube.

I saw David Sunburn in a Concert in the Round many years ago, really liked his music but lost track of him.
Sad to hear of his passing, RIP David
