I am happy with my new Sony but I haven't had a chance to try it under low light conditions (if you've read all the reviews, they mention trouble in low light...without flash) ...I have a wedding to do at the end of the month and I will certainly put it to the test then, but if it doesn't perform the way I need it to, I know my Nikon will work superbly!

I am looking at upgrading my sony a300--considered the SLT's, but I'm worried about the performance in low light, considering I'm getting more into weddings...those receptions are pretty low light! So, I'm leaning toward an a580 (if I can find one in my price range!)---or maybe a 700 or 900....anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Oh man!! I just bought an a580 and a new lens, so absolutely can't afford anything else right now....just curious, though--why are you selling it?

I had a 7mp point-and-shoot and then went to the A77. I think I maybe should have found some middle ground (NEX-5??) - I am a little nervous about carrying around a $2000 camera!! :) I had credit card rewards from Sony so I am not losing money selling for $1500.

Wish I could afford it! I couldn't have afforded it even before I got the a580...but am saving up! : )

IndyDean...I'd buy that camera in a heartbeat but my wife wants an RV, so guess where I have to focus my money. But, it's a nice camera at a great buy. Good luck with your sale.
