Breaks my heart... second illness prompts sale-see $ update below
Well, we all hope you can adjust and still get to enjoy the photo world- best wishes!
I would probably keep the 38-300mm lens which would drop the price to $4,170.00. Would consider $4,000.00 even then. Thanks for the inquiry!, Carl
Cheineck: I known what COPD can do. Hot ( 80+) Very cold (0 or below) weather do a number on me. Also known what it like to down size one collution of cameras. I walk around like something is missing. You are not along. Bill 45
Personally, I wouldn't send equipment unti check cleared. Good way to lose thousands. Get well soon!
Hope you get better soon and good luck.Jim

I have sold very similar equipment in the past on the HOG with very happy and honest buyers. My COPD has reared its ugly head again and i just can't handle all the equipment any more. All is practically new, all bought from B&H and is in "new" condition. New cost of all was $6,685.00. The Mark IV is the finest camera I have ever owned! The Sigma 150-600 surprised me with its extreme sharpness! The Canon 38-300 was recently sent to Canon for upgraded firmware and is a wonderful walk-around lens, The Tamron 15-30 got mediocre reviews but I have no complaints whatsoever. All have minimal, and I mean very little use. All in original boxes and USA items, no grey market. I want to sell the entire package for $4,770.00 firm.
I may keep the 38-300mm lens which would drop the total price to $4,170.00. All is like new, but about $2,000.00 less than B&H new.
Canon 5D Mark IV with battery grip == less expensive grip.
Sigma 159-600 Contemporary (really sharp!!!!!!) with dock
Tamron 15-30 w/filter "box" attachment.
Canon 38-300
Canon 270EX2 flash (small but great)
Compact Flash and SD 64 gig cards
Teleplus 1.4 telextender
UV filters except on the Tamron...it comes with a filter setup because of the lens design

I'll pay shipping in Continental US and like to have equipment and check cross in mail. I'm in Southern Florida if you're close by and would like to see it all in person!Would deposit check upon your approval of equipment. Will take a day or two to pack in original boxes.

Carl, I was reading your 5D Mark IV + stuff ad. I have conflicting reactions. For one, while I wish I could back up a few months into my equipment acquisition journey, skip some expenditures I've recently made, and jump all over your whole package, at this stage of my journey a big sidestep like that would likely give my wife a coronary. I just bought a used 5D Mark III and a couple of old (but good) L lenses. But if I grasp what you're offering accurately, your package would be heavenly! Is the 38-300 Canon you mentioned perhaps the Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6L IS USM Lens? If so, WOW! Understand why you'd have a really hard time letting go of that...don't know what other cameras you have, but any Canon EF would love it.
More important than my lust for the equipment you've offered for sale, though, is my empathy for what brings you to this decision. I can only imagine the sadness the impact of this condition brings you as you face surrendering the fine tools of and the very lifeblood of a hobby - or, more likely, passion - you obviously share with everyone on this oddball (Ugly Hedgehog...really?) forum. I really admire some suggestions you've gotten here on ways to continue your passion in a modified vein or with some mechanized mobility. I'd love to see this ad disappear due to your discovery of a way to carry on carrying on. That would also remove all temptation for me to cause my own dear wife's sudden demise.
Carl: Best of luck to you. I'm still recovering from 4 surgeries as a result of esophageal cancer. Stay positive - it's half the battle.
