I have this same lens in the Nikon version. It's a great lens and on my crop sensor camera, it's the equivalent of a 225-900mm. I love mine. Someone should take you up on this offer.

thanks D3200prime. I agree, it is a great lens, I just don't need it and the 100-400 with teleconverter. :-)

If I did not already own a 100-400 II and the extender I would be all over it.

Thanks. I must admit, I thought this would be easy to sell at this price. Oh well

I would think so, I was willing to pay $1400 a while back and thought it would have been a great deal....

Good luck.

Heck, what do you need, I have lots of glass, not saying I have something that you could use that I would be willing to part with but maybe, most of my lenses are in the signature line below my post, there are a few others that are not listed. Some I would not be willing to part with but some I would. I have a Canon 85 f/1.2L, I may consider my 70-200 f/2.8L IS II, but I would have to do a little research first, and I have some other lenses. Is there an area of photography that you would like to get a high performance lens for?

Actually,I have everything I need/want so I'll probably just hold onto the sigma for now. May repost in the future. But thanks for the offer.

Completely understand, I would have had a hard time parting with any of my lenses. After you shoot with your Canon 100-400 for a while send me a PM to let me know how you think it performs against your Sport. I don't even use my extender on the 100-400 because I find it incredibly sharp at 400mm and I shoot with a 5DSR so I can crop pretty substantially and still have a high res image.
