I have a Mac air and am having trouble migrating Lightroom to it from my old PC. The migration software on the PC keeps telling me that I have to close Edge to proceed. I think Edge is an integral part of Windows and can’t be deleted. I’m lost.
Go to C:\Windows\SystemApps.
Tap the Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder.
Rename it. I usually use the suffix "_SAVE" for these things.
Tap "Continue as Administrator"
This should do it. To undo (if you really want that thang back" re rename and remove that suffix.

Why are you migrating. You just have to install the mac version on the new computer. If you have CC your license allows two simultaneous sessions, but an unlimited number of installs. In other words, you can have LR installed on 10 machines as long as you don't try to use it on more than two at a time.
If you have an older version of LR, then you will need to deactivate it on the PC and activate it on the mac. Adobe support should be able to help you with that.
Thanks, I didn’t think of that.
