The full moon is magnificent. I guess there will be a few post related to it. Here is mine. Please enjoy the download
Wow! Beautiful! What camera, lens, and settings? I'm still learning how to "shoot (for) the moon". Any info helps. Thanks!
Nikon D7200; Tamron 150-600 G2. I believe I used f11, ISO 100. I varied the shutter speed, starting with about 1/125. Of course I was on a very sturdy tripod. It is suggested to manually focus the lens, but I never do. The camera does a better job, most of the time. It is more rewarding to practice when the moon is not full. The darker area give you something with greater contrast upon which to focus. Thanks for looking. You CAN DO IT TOO!
The sky was kind of ominous around here tonight. I feel there’s something wrong with my moon pic but I can’t seem to put a finger on it.
Ahhh, maybe it's just my eyes, but it looks like you put your finger IN it...
very nice detail and color.
Beautiful image with great detail!
Fantastic capture, Bernie, best I have seen.
Great shot, Einreb92, that Tamron's awesome. Couldn't get anywhere near that with the Nikon 55-300. Didn't expect the reach that the longer lenses get, but image quality's not that great either.
