It's "St Paddy's"day Padraigh is Irish for Patrick
My Italian cousin Patty was born on St. Paddy's day. She was appropriately named.
I checked out the St. Patrick's Day parade in Ann Arbor. Between ND and MSU I couldn't imagine anybody in AA wearing green....but they did.
.... and then you leave the pub?

It’s Saint Patrick’s Day!
Me too. My wife and I met 42 years ago at a St. Pat's party. We married one year later on St. Pat's day.
Hope you had a very happy anniversary. We did.

Congratulations! We have 5 children and 4 have brown eyes (like my wife and I), one has green eyes and one was born on March 17. Correct, the one with green eyes was born on March 17.
