Sydney, Australia (14) - Wildlife.
Most of the wildlife you willl see in the wild will be birds.
You will only see kangaroos etc if you visit a zoo or one of the 3 national parks that border Sydney.
It is not like North America (we have no squirells) and nothing remotely like Pier 39 in San Francisco.
Here a just a few of the birds you may see.
More to come cand feel free to ask any questions.

A very good set.
The colours in your Rainbow Lorrikeet are really are vibrant.
Super series, Richard! Those kookaburras are just so adorable, the lorikeet looks like it enjoys having its picture taken, and the black swan composition is stunning.

Thank you - lots of them around depending on the time of the year,

Thanks Linda.
If you don't feed the kookaburras they will just swoop down and steal the meat off the BBQ.

I have around twenty rainbows come every afternoon for a bird seed party...............noisy as can be, I never get tired of watching them.

Very nice. I remember a kookaburra pecking at my hotel room sliding glass window in Brisbane during the 90's. No camera at the time but several days of throwing food out the door.
