What a magical place! I looked for Mr Dickens but couldn't spot him, but he would be right at home here.
All just lovely, Sylvia!
Quaint and lovely environment, nicely presented, Sylvia.

I love exploring old buildings. Your walk about is a beautiful combination of grand views and beautiful close-ups of a time past. Loved the series. Hope you do more.

Very nice shots my friend. I enjoyed the tour.
Greg is heading back to London on Sunday. Maybe one of these days I'll hop on a plane with him and pay you and Bob a visit. It's hard to get away with all of the animals and other commitments. Cheers!

Enjoying our break in the Lake District we walked a mile along the road to the village to have a coffee. The house was built in 1859 and downstairs was used as a Sunday School. It is now a thriving coffee shop.
The medieval monks owned much of Borrowdale from 1208 farming sheep and growing wealthy on the thriving wool trade. They established their ‘grange’ or farm here. Some of the houses may be built of stone from their original grange. Many properties are made from local slate.
The small Holy Trinity Church was built in 1861.
I hope you enjoy seeing the properties in Grange and the views along the way.
