Loc: Sydney Australia
I went for a bush walk around the shores of Sydney Harbour this arvo.
Would appreciate any feedback - especially around composition.
I have done a quick crop and edit using Canon's DPP4.
After some earlier feedback I tried to get closer this time - where I could!
cheers daw
Nice Captures. I love the spider waiting in the web.
Your first one is especially good! And I love the last one too! You are off to a fine start. ( and your spider will be in focus if you change your focusing point to one focusing point, instead of several. That way, you can get the exact thing you want to be in focus.)
Looks to me like you are doing great---very nice!
They eyes say it. Very nice
Happy shooting
That’s a great start!
Thanks
Nice shots! Some minor suggestions: #1 - add a little more space on the left, the direction in which the lizard is facing; #2 - did you catch its whole tail in the original?; #3 - doesn't quite work because the branch obscures the birds; #4 - nice pic, try using spot focus next time for an even sharper spider. Good sharp focus on the others, and good color on all.
Suggestion: Write down exactly what you did to capture and process the first shot, and then....
Keep doing it over and over and over - That is a great shot!
(Although you could have asked the lizard to lower his chin just a little and slowly turn only his head towards the camera... )
The spider and first lizard are wonderful. The EXIF for both of these images report Aperture Priority. You might consider stepping down slightly for more depth of field and / or lens sharpness. Look too at your DPP sharpness setting. If processing from RAW, try values 4 to 5, depending on the composition.
Nice set. Looking forward to more.
