If you want to see the price of freedom, visit a VA Hospital.

I'm too young to have served. My brother-in-law served and my sister works at the VA Hospital.

I value my freedom everyday.

When I meet someone who is the service to our country or someone who has served, I thank them for their service. It is the least I can do.

The definition of a soldier is: A person who has signed a blank check to the United States Of America for any amount up to and including their life.

I agree with one tiny exception, make soldier, veteran. Not all veterans were sent to combat, but each one could have been. I am one of the latter group and thank God each day for the ones who were sent.

I never thought of it that way before. Thank you. I signed on the line at 18+ about 60 days. Didn't know fecal material from shinola. Worth every moment.
While God is being given thanks, let's include thanks for the ones who got back.
Hope they go to a heaven, they have already been thru hell.

I should have added that this subject is one of three things that can bring a tear to my eye.
The other two being a half teaspoon of wasabi or fresh horseradish.

At the risk of befouling this thread, I feel that MAGA is oxymoronic under the current administration.
