I cropped this pic in two different ratios (portrait & Landscape for two of them) but can't make up my mind which one I like the best...any prefferences..?

Number 2 is best to me.
Not too crowded.
One is too much background, three is too tight and in portrait mode looks jammed up to the right.
Two has the correct balance of the three presented.
I like #2, we can follow the Bird's eye to the lower right of the photo. Also, the eye/beak, the tip of the plant and the bottom right of the photo are a line. Our eyes follow lines.. we look for alignment.
Basic leading line composition, the line is not needed, just the dots.
I like them all. The real question is which do you like the best.

Agree totally (about the photo!) with Architect.
#3 Just the right amount of everything.

I like the first one best. It makes a change from all of the 'drivers license' bird pics we get here.
Hard to choose but I think I like 3 best.
#3 for me but #2 is really nice, also.

Well, that was interesting, there seems to be an even spread of opinions..thank you all for having a say...a friend wants a print of it framed so due to the fact I can print a 10 X 8 here and not pay someone else, I'll do either 2 or 3...No.1 would look nice blown up but I don't think she'd want to pay that much...she's a dear old lady and if I do it here, I have some frames, and it won't cost her anything...Thanks again for your input...

The last one for me, Ron.
