Outstanding. Did you take these recently, i.e., this winter?
Not this past winter, G-T. A few years ago. I am reorganizing my files which are in disarray due to my laziness. While I am at it, I am reprocessing all of the images. When I originally shot and processed the images, I had a crappy computer/monitor that was not properly calibrated. As a result, the images look pretty stinko as I am reorganizing. So I am re-doing the PP on the raw files.
What a job. Taking forever, but it's worth it. I figured I might as well share some of the images, especially from lesser known shooting areas. Maybe draw some interest for those unfamiliar with the areas.
BTW- Thanks for the kind words.

The Valley of Fire is a Nevada State Park about 60 miles south of Las Vegas It is truly an amazing place and a target rich environment for photographers. Easy to see why it is called the Valley of Fire. It was developed as a WPA project during the depression.
Downloads are a must to fully appreciate the fiery colors.
I've been there last year and I know Elephant Rock is difficult to shoot. Great job and nice set.
