Great listing of useful apps.... Why not just load them into your camera ? Why mess with a Smartphone or carry a tablet around ? The new Zeiss has internal memory and Lightroom onboard; maybe full Lightroom is not needed in the camera body for most folks but does that mean something in the way of USEFUL apps could not be loaded ? look to the future; use that SD slot as input as well as output. Maybe if your Tablet can't do the trick you could pull your Mac 27 " in your pull behind red wagon to fulfill your app needs. Sarcasm... YES ! Current hardware capabilities not utilized to serve the the needs of current users; think OUTSIDE the box. Sorry for the rant, just a sore point with me.

I've tried to load them on my Hassy and Rollei, but I'm not sure where to put them? Maybe tape my iPhone to the bottom, but that would interfere with the tripod fitting....

This is the apps I use most of the time on my iPhone.
None, I don't have a smartphone.

Try touch retouch; removes wires and does other tricks.
Definitely worth a look. Phone and iPad.

Try touch retouch for wire removal. Pretty good little app.

To those who have editing apps:
Do you use those to edit images from your camera or just your smart phone? I can’t see how you’d edit raw files on a phone.
Andy
I have Camera+ that converts the raw file to an uncompressed tiff file rather than a jpeg file. It is then possible to recover over- and under-exposed areas of the image in PS or other editing software.
I also have Pro HDR X. It takes better in-camera HDR than my professional cameras.
So, how much do all threes apps cost you?.
Camera+ and Pro HDR X are each about $3 as I recall
