Non-maleficence, which is derived from the maxim, is one of the principal precepts of bioethics that all medical students are taught in school and is a fundamental principle of applied medicine throughout the world.
The Hippocratic Oath includes a promise "to abstain from doing harm"
Within the original Hippocratic Oath's initial translation one finds this passage... "I will give no deadly medicine to any one if asked, nor suggest any such counsel; and in like manner I will not give to a woman a pessary to produce abortion..."
The Hippocratic Oath as been and remains a beacon of ethical behavior transcending all... and embraced by virtually every religious institution...
"It is a child not a choice" remains as a poignant ethical dilemma...
Holding the concept of "life" sacred would appear to be in harmony with the Hippocratic Oath.
To this end I continue to pray for those who have no voice...

Thank you for speaking out for precious babies. We simply have to, anyway we can and at all times. Please continue to do so.
Abortion is barbaric, inhuman and indefensible. To think that a society that presumes to call itself civilized can condone and even celebrate the slaughter of its most defenseless and voiceless members defies description. Pray unceasingly that the murderous practice of killing our infants may cease and the precious gift of life be bestowed on all persons, in and out of the womb.

Bless you for speaking out for the little ones.

Since God has said He knew us even before we were in the womb, then it is our job to speak out and defend those He holds so precious...and who cannot speak for themselves. Thanks for your supportive comment...
Unexpected or unplanned pregnancy happens. When it does, many young women who are without any emotional or financial support believe their only choice is to abort the baby.
However, “Over 80 percent say they would have carried to term under better circumstances or with the support of loved ones, over 60 percent report having felt ‘forced’ to have the abortion by others or circumstances, and approximately 40 percent were still hoping to discover some alternative to abortion when going for counseling at the abortion clinic,” (Reardon, “Women Who Abort: Their Reflections on the Unborn”).
Pro-Choice also involves Adoption; Temporary Foster Care; Rise the Baby Yourself; Have a Family Member Raise the Child; and Ultimately Marriage to the Baby’s Father to create a nurturing family together.
In the United States Marriage Minimum age is 16 with the consent of the parent or guardian. ...
15 in the case of pregnancy with both parental and judicial consent.
Please embrace the harsh reality that a 15 year old unwed mother is facing a potential catastrophic life altering dilemma. Sadly often in the face of strong disapproval by family; church and society… Her family members can often react in open castigation. Her church rarely if ever provides the nurturing and comforting environment she desperately seeks… and now the Pro-Life mantras invoke terror with verbiage such as murder and barbaric in their rhetoric… Is this what a traumatized 15 year old needs to hear in her disparate hour of need?
Bottom Line? If you are not part of the solution then you are likely part of the problem.
Lest Christians forget Christ’s last words…
“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” Luke 23:34

Love this and the photo is amazing!
thank you so much kaitoo212 for your kind words... btw, the child in the photograph above is that of a 15 year old unwed mother who choose life and to keep her child... we have been very close friends for many many years... I have photographed her son many times... he is an absolute joy... God bless him...
As for the ethical dilemma? It often brings tears to my eyes knowing either stance is denies the other of their "perceived" rights... "It is a child not a choice" remains as a poignant ethical dilemma... who's solution appears to be beyond our current cultural mores... since Roe verses Wade the 1973 landmark decision by the US Supreme Court 56,000,000 abortions have occurred in the US. Least folks forget the bottom line, it is the OG/GYN doctor's who are making a first full of dollars... average abortion goes for $800 to $1200. My question here is why are the OG/GYN's allowed to continue their mercenary ways? No it is not the 15 year of girl who is at fault here it is the medical "professional" who in my mind's eye is the one who needs to rethink their Hippocratic Oath... sorry for the rant but I'm not a fan of the medical community mercenaries... enough said... thank you again kaitoo212, all the best on your journey...
I will keep this situation in prayer as we stand and pray together!
God bless ya brotha,
kaitoo212/daniel
