Tons of birds this morning

Today there were more birds in the yard than I have ever seen before. A Robin flock of about a hundred birds was followed up by a similar number of Cedar Waxwings. It was a totally overcast situation so the photos aren't the best. The square shot of the Redbelly Woodpecker is for my 4x4 friends.

Happy is the person who has a yard full of birds! Beautiful shots, and I wish I had that many waxwings and robins in my yard!

Oh, these are wonderful Ron and I LOVE the waxwings. We have them come thru occasionally, and I so enjoy seeing them. Great job!!

The large flock of Robins were migrators on their way north. The Waxwings are usually abundant from October through June. Some Robins remain here all year.

Now that's a lot of birds. Not sure if it is a ton might be close to 2 pounds.
