I took these photos in Australia while I was there on vacation with my GF. A few of the photos have been adjusted to lighten them a bit. The weather was cloudy for most of the trip. Any comments are certainly welcome.

Great set Allan. I really like the first shot. Great composition, and the slight color where the light hits the trees on the right, makes the shot for me. Are those Budgies? I like your little friend in the last shot too. He looks like he is smiling. 😊

Great capture of the lizard posing for you. He was really curious, wasn't he.
Did you enquire what kind of parrots those are? I lived along the Adelaide River and at times woke flocks of those parrots from the trees, well over 100 of them. They made brilliant smacks of red and greens and blues against the blue sky.

I think they are Rainbow Lorikeets. I wish that I had taken my monopod with me but I was stuck with holding the camera.
