Apt. 314
Naturally what you do if you live in apartment 314
...how cool is this? and even better, it's correct! Although...to be picky, the decimal point is missing.

I like it, I used to wear my nickname LWW on my softball uniform.
An opposing team captain filed a complaint with the league because rules specify the jersey must bear my name.
The league ruled I wasnโt ineligible because I was known by that, but for future games I had to get another jersey.
Next game I had my last name emblazoned on my jersey but with the number 3.14159.
When we played the team which contested my name again he contested my number because the league limited numbers to three digits.
The league ruled I wasnโt ineligible because I wasnโt aware that the three digit rule applied even with a decimal point but for future games I had to get another jersey.
My third jersey for the season had the number 6 7/8.
No further protests have been filed.
The person in that apartment must be fairly interesting. Even before you get in the door there's a talking point!!

๐๐๐ The first 15 places are correct but thatโs as far as I memorized in school about 70 years ago.

Sounds like you learned the same bit of doggerel that I did. It goes: How I want a drink, alcoholic of course, after the heavy chapters involving quantum mechanics.
Memories: when pledging a fraternity years ago, a math major gave me the chore of memorizing it to 50 places or get the paddle. Must have done it as I don't remember getting paddled. Today cannot remember my house number ๐.

HAHA! I remember when I was in school the math teacher (7th grade maybe) insisted we memorize Pi to 12 places. I asked why.
"Because I told you to."
"But where will I use it?"
"Don't worry about that. Just memorize it."
"There are two chances of that happening: slim and none. And Slim is out of town for a while."
I was sent to the principal's office, expecting a butt warming. Instead, I got a lecture on how this taught discipline. I asked the principal if he knew Pi to 12 places. His face got red and he finally sputtered, "Damn it, Steve, just do it, okay!?"
The teacher bitched to my mother (who drove a school bus for the school district). Her reply was, "What bullshit! Totally useless information."
No, I never learned it to 12 places.
Pi = 3.14
And that may be,
All I need,
To know.
that was my observation as well-no period...lol...
