Have fun on the slopes Mike. Last Friday I slipped on ice. I spent today at the Orthopedics office. No break on the x ray. He thinks I tore the calf muscle off the bone or tore a tendon. I'm being sent for an MRI next. Today was day 2 out of work. First time in 34 years. I'm already tearing the hair out of my head!! Gary

Gary, The inactivity is worse than the rehab. At least with rehab you have something to do. Sorting and editing photos helped me a lot. Also, I went on YouTube and worked with several PP videos. Good luck!

Mike

Great news on the relatively fast recovery. Very interesting pictures, but artistically not your best work.

Thanks, Bill. The shots are not of my best side - LOL.

Mike, looks like a lot of metal holding it together. Be careful if you go back to the slopes. The photos of your xrays are awesome.

I am very happy for you being told by your Dr that it is safe to go back.

Greg

Thanks for the good wishes, Gary. At 80, I am finally going to listen to my wife and slow down.

Join the bionic brigade! Take the easy peesy slopes for a while! Interesting shots Mike. Good to know you are fit to go.

Thanks, Sylvia. My wife will ensure a slow return to the slopes.

These are the shots that got my orthopedic surgeon to say that I could return to the slopes on the 3 month anniversary of the crash (March 10).

Ive been retired now for over25 years from the space industry. I was quality control manger. Besides almost everything that held our orbiter and rockets together we also made those implants for the Drs. to install those joints.

Great news Mike, can understand why they are your best pictures of this year, but lets not have any more of these
