I was never a big fan of Country Western Music. But when I was young I heard Patsy Cline and got
it. Such heart and soul. Recently C&W has changed some and is very entertaining.

James, great set. I remember attending "Always Patsy Cline" several years ago when I lived in Brentwood. The show was at the Ryman and starred Mandy Barnett. Is this show at the Franklin Theater?

Thanks Jim. Yes, I remember that show at the Ryman and Mandy (in my opinion) was fabulous. This was at the Factory in Franklin at the Jamison Theater.

Hi Folks, this is a continuation of photos I took at a Theatrical Presentation on the life of Patsy Cline. If you missed Part 1 you can see that post at http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-579060-1.html I had second thoughts about posting due to lack of interest in Part 1, but I promised I would...so here it is. These were taken after the intermission break and portrays the the later part of Patsy's life when she had achieved a bit of fame. In addition to clubs and bars, she was one of the most requested artist on many radio station across the Nation at that time. Her songs were getting more and more air time and climbing the charts. Eventually she finally achieved the ultimate...singing on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. It all suddenly ended tragically with a plane crash after performing in Kansas City. Patsy and 3 others lost their lives near Camden Tennessee on their way back to Nashville (just 90 miles away) during a storm March 5, 1963 at the age of 30. The pilot was not trained to fly with instruments and lost control of the aircraft in bad weather. Hope you enjoy these. Thanks for stopping in. I appreciate that you did.
