I have seen one work; owned by a friend.
Images appear soft to me with some bleeding (especilly red.) Compared to other entry leven inkjet printers ($49 range) the quality os the Pandigital is poor.
They work, but the name is misleading.
The printer is "ink less" but you have to buy their special paper, which is not inexpensive. Basically the ink is in the paper and it is heat activated.
I have not seen any data on how long the prints will last, but since this printer is heavily promoted on the QVC shopping network, well, enough said.

I would not buy anything from pandigital. The stuff is cheply made with a very short life expectancy and virtually no customer service. If it looks to good to be true, it usually is!!
If you want quality images spend the dough and get a good printer!!
