Lovely series of an adult red-tail !
I agree that it is almost surely a male due to its more refined, less bulky bill, its relatively slender tarsometatarsus and toes, and it’s overall size gauged against that 4”x4” cross-bar it is perched on. A female would be obviously larger, more heavily built bird with a more robust rhinotheca (upper bill) and heavier, thicker tarsometatarsi and toes.
