to compare your dog to a politician is an insult to the dog--Your dog gives you unconditional love--your congressman gives something supposedly equivalent to the " act of love"

If your Congressman is not to your liking, get busy VOTE someone into office that you feel WILL do the job. VOTE! Don't bitch, get busy. This is the greatest value of our Constitution, it provides for change, while protecting basic rights.

I & my wife in our 52 years of marriage so far have had 3 dogs, and the love that we have gotten from them is far more valuable then what we've spent on them.

True story as far as it goes, but I would not insult my dogs by comparing them to members of congress. They are consistently entertaining and loyal.They don't lie to me or try to feather their own nest. They don't conspire with other dogs to undermine my best interests nor do they spend to promote their own interests.
In fact they protect my property and person and love me unconditionally.
