What do you mean...."Not fine art"? Looks quite fine to me and she even knows how
to do odd jobs around the house. Never saw anyone on a ladder with high heels.
I like the swing...…...

A replacement swing for a worn out one?

Actually it's a friend's basement and they told me they haven't had the swing out for years. But when they started remodeling they reinforced a section of the ceiling at that point and imbedded a hook in an electrical box that they are going to put a cover on when they're not using it. Getting the swing out and hanging it up just sort of happened and it seemed like a fun story to depict. They have interesting plans for the room and I expect we'll shoot there again when everything is finished.

Until I read that was going to commend you on having good priorities on remodeling your room... (1) Put up a little of the drywall, (2) Put up the swing, (3) Hook it to the hot wire to have an electrifying experience. <grin>

She is both fine and a work of art - deserves her very own site built entirely on your captures of her.

This is actually a typical problem with some a lot of people in this modern life style. A few weeks past a model friend wanted to know how I would come up with a decent solution to the problem. Her boyfriend Jack was getting into rope and she wanted to get a swing like the one you show in your photographs.

This was a no brainer, so I had her call her guy and he came to the studio after we were done with our shoot. Jack works with a construction company doing home remodeling. When he arrived he and I got out the studio's scaffold and set it up. Mary watched and then I had her help towards the end of the set up. The last part was hanging the same swing you show.

I told the two to call me when they were done trying out the swing! Jack stopped at Home Depot and they bough a new standard scaffold that day. I gifted them the swing, but don't worry, I have another one and both were given to me because the purchaser could figure out how to install it in their home.

Always keep the models happy! Besides, I need another swing in the studio like I need a hole in my head.

Photo one: A standard scaffold in use.
Photo two: Porch swing suspended in lighting studio.
Photo Three: Padded swing in lighting studio.

Chandelier? I don't understand? I've got 3 or 4 in the props, some can be tied into electrical to light up. Is that what you had in mind or are you a kinky dude and want candles so wax drips down on to the model. It can be done but it is super messy and the model either needs a wig to toss, will shave their head after (have done that as well) and then the objects in the shoot like cloth on the swing. Planning!

It was intended as light humor, and not a critique of or suggestion for the OP's thread. "Hanging From Chandeliers" is an old slang for wild and kinky sex. I doubt that many have actually done it. Even if both participants were fit enough, few chandeliers could support their entire weight.

I would do a 'hanging from the chandelier but I'm told that even semi naughty is about the level allowed on the Hog. BUT, I will consider the idea! The front lighting studio has a 4X4 beam for suspensions and I know it carries real weight as two guys (325 and 285 pounders!) hung and torqued from it with no movement or fatigue apparent!
