You might be surprised at how
little #2 had been processed. From the raw file, +15 de-haze and +10 orange luminance, plus cropping top and bottom. The view itself is overlooking Courthouse Canyon to the upper end of Anderson Gulch beyond. Had a snow squall not been in progress in the Windows Section, Elephant Butte (and N. and S. Window arches) would've been in view on the horizon on the left. What's ironic is that the brightest portions of the distant outcrops face opposite the sun (though the sun was blocked by heavy low-laying cloud cover), and are places where snow hadn't melted on north-facing slopes. I assume the brightness was a result of light being reflected back off the near white-out squall cloud.
Whatever the conditions, glad ya like it.
