I finally got out with my new to me Nikon J4 camera today.
Took the mutt out to lake to run the trails. All pics were taken with the 30-110 lens and in the auto setting. Jpeg and untouched
At -10 wind-chill it was too cold to "play" with settings.
I took a couple inside also inside when I got home.
Looking for critiquing and any tips and tricks for using this camera would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks to all in advance

Thanks! I am looking forward to warmer temps so I can play with the settings.
Elsie my dog wasn't taking time to pose!

Thanks so much. Can't wait to experiment further as it warms up. I'll try to master manual mode
The Nikon "J" series of cameras is vastly underrated, in my opinion. When I first arrived at UHH, about five years ago (yikes!) the J1 with two lenses was my camera of choice. I've since expanded my horizons (and my gear). I still have the J1, and pull it out from time to time when I want a compact SLR-type of camera. Nice shots!

Thanks very much for the kind words.
The compact size and packability was my selling point. We enjoy hiking and motorcycle trips so it will work great for that.

Little Lola was getting bothered by me belly crawling around the house after her. This made it worth it
