Took the wife for a drive yesterday. It was a rainy day but took my camera anyway.....Glad I did. We went to Oakdale for lunch. A full rainbow came into view. Had my 18-140 lens on and could not get it all at 18mm, so I took a few and stitched in Lightroom. I tried three but to many spots not aligned up on the power lines, so I ended up doing two. There is still a small spot.....Think I'll try another program.
There was a second rainbow starting to for, you can see on the left. Part of the problem of getting good alignment might be the handholding of the camera.
Anyway, shots like this are missed if you do not have your camera with you....all and all I'm satisfied. It can be corrected.
ISO 100, F10, 1/100 sec, manual.
A second photo of one of the main streets at night here in Fresno, Ca. also handheld: 1/6 sec, iso 400, f4.5, 48mm.
Beautiful rainbow image, Frank!

Thanks, appreciate it....
Nice 'bow, Frank. Know what you mean about 18mm. When I have seen a full 'bow, I've had to go wider than 20mm (I'm FF guy) to just fit it in. Haven't seen one since I got my 16mm. Fingers crossed.
Thanks....yup, it's hard to find a complete rainbow, and when you do, with today's technology, is easy to take two or three shots and such in post.
