Since moving to a new location at our local American Legion Post, attendance has grown to 90 participants and will probably increase a bit more. Lots of "Snowbirds" bring their toys with them to Florida!

Some are before my time, but love that Chevelle! Remember those well !
All are nice, but the Chevelle takes the cake!

I had a Chevelle just like that 70 you have pictured. Mine was an SS454 but the colors were slightly different on mine. It could be just the colors your camera reproduced or perhaps it was repainted. My stripes were white, and your picture looks almost silvery. Mine had the white landau top too and a cowl induction hood. I removed the landau top and repainted it many coats of lacquer black. I died the seats and upholstery black. It was white to begin with. I hated the white. I put station wagon springs on the back instead of hi-jacker shocks as most people did. I had to cut a coil or two off the springs to get them to fit just right so that my tires cleared the fender wells.

Thanks all for your comments. The Chevelle was recently finally completed after a 6 year restoration. The paint was done by a professional and is not a stock Chevrolet color and yes, the stripes are done in bright silver. His next plan is to replace the rear axle with a Moser prepared 9 inch Ford with a more street friendly gear in the differential.

A good friend of mine loved it too and bought it the day of the cruise-in from the "snowbird" who trailered it down!
Glad everyone enjoyed the selections, with over 90 cars (and trucks) I had to choose a representative sample to include here.
