From our last sunny day...

We're having cold, torrential rains in "sunny" Southern California for the past couple of days. I got out to the Irvine Regional Park on Tuesday...the last really sunny day...and caught the attached shots. All were taken with my Nikon D500 and Nikkor 200-500mm telezoom lens. I especially like the Bewick's Wren and the Starling (I love the deep purple and green highlights in the Starling). How about you?
Oh, and I added a Red-footed Booby just for fun since many of you may never have had an opportunity to see this species, which is rare even here.

Yes, Hal. Those were the good old days! Actually, I shouldn’t complain. We’ve had a lot of dry years recently, but not so far this year.
