New Drum Set Up

This is one of my many hobbies and this is my ultimate set. I don't know if I'll ever be able to do them justice, but I'm going to give it a shot.

WOW that is a lot of drum kit.
i love the contrast of colours in the last shot and the light reflections especially with the gold on the cymbals. Pity these photos don't come with a sound track.

Gary.............WOW!!! That is a nice set! Are you in a band, or just a hobby? If you are in a band, do you have to get there an hour early to set up. :) And my other question is,,, how are the neighbors doing? :):)

thank you, I wish it had come with set up instructions as it took me all day to figure it out

thanks ERV, I have been in bands for about 50 years but now. I just enjoy learning new things and this is a real challenge. So far the neighbors have been nice. I keep the drums in a well insulated studio so hopefully I don't bother anybody

I would like to be your new best friend Gary. on the other hand you could buy some real nice glass with all that Zildjian brass. beautiful looking set and i bet they sound just great.. enjoy

thanks ringo, I traded a 1951 chevy and got some cash to boot for the drums. I didn't need any more glass at the moment. I'm sure I'll sell this monster kit in a tear or two as we plan to move into smaller quarters at some point and I won't have room for them.

Beautiful set of drums, so do we call you "Neal Pert"yet. I bought my daughter a set of Yamaha stage customs that was expensive enough.

Beauty set, I played many years ago but not with a dbl bass setup. Very tight quarters you set up in,you do wear ear protection eh? Is there room for the rest of the band to set up also?

can you play triplets with the double bass?
There some excellent ytube vids of drummers who have perfected some really cool bass drum techniques. If you wish I'll flag and send some.
