Yes - I was surprised there was such a turn -out. I'm partial to Dale myself. He enjoyed belly rubs from a young lady before being adopted by her family.

I'm always happy to hear when a dog survives parvo. It can be so devastating. I'd love to see a picture of the lilac tree in bloom. It is wonderful to hear you've given you dogs such happy lives and stayed with them through old age and their passing. So many older dogs get dropped at the shelter, and it is particularly heartbreaking.

I volunteer at our local animal shelter. We had a pet adoption event at a local brewery, and 18 pets were adopted. 17 dogs and one cat. I was suspect of the new venue, but there was great turnout, and we may do it on a more regular basis. I've attached a few photos of the event.
