I take tens of thousand of photographs around the world, each year. For the last few years I have been using a Canon PowerShot SX20, which I bought reconditioned. It takes good photos, but lately has developed some quirks like dead LED screen (which I replaced and is still dead), and other little things makes me worried that it might not work when I need it to. I'll be traveling through 8 countries again this year, including a couple of weeks in the Costa Rican rain forest. I am shopping for a good camera with auto focus and either duel lens or super zoom lens. I just don't know enough of the camera lingo to make heads or tails of what to buy. I do really great wildlife and cultural photo mostly. For wildlife a better zoom lens would be so amazing. My budget is about $600 or less. I rarely use manual settings. I am considering the Nikon D5300 with duel lens. Any suggestions or advise?

The Sony RX10 iv would be an excellent camera except that the cost is substantially more than your stated budget. If you were happy with the Canon SX20, why not consider the newest version which I believe is the SX70. B&H is sellling it for $549.
Fuji makes a few superzooms. One has a (routerless) direct WiFi connection to my Android tablet so I can both see the live view and control the camera. App for Apple too, BTW. It also uses 4 AA cells, handy when traveling. A lot depends on how big you want the camera to be.
The Canon SX70 would meet your budget, but it is a basically a slightly upgraded SX60. Check out YouTube. There a couple of good comparisons. The SX60 can be had for $300 or less and many Vlogers use it.
On Nikonusa.com website Nikon Coolpix P900 refurbished has a 35mm equivalent 24mm wide angle to a 2000mm optical zoom built in. It’s compact, compared to a dslr and less than your budget-with plenty left over. If that dedicated lens is enough why pay extra and carry extra weight for interchangable lenses?
I recommend the Canon SX70HS. It will do everything you want and it's the evolution of your current camera and it is a whole lot more than simply a minor upgrade to the SX60HS. I own an SX60HS, a nice camera on its own, and have speced out the SX70HS and it is definitely a better camera. I'll probably be getting one as an upgrade to my SX60HS.

Here is a link to Canon's website for a refurbished SX60. Refurbished simply means that a camera has been returned for any number of reasons and that it's own technicians have reconditioned it to like new status. You'll also get a 1-year warranty to boot. I've purchased 4 different refurbs from Canon and have been more than satisfied. Many others here at UHH buy refurbs. The SX60 would be great for you, you'll immediately notice similarities with your SX20 but with noticeable and surprisingly pleasant results. It will also save you more than $200 on your budget.

I don't know but I wonder if the Nikon P900 is better choice?

"I take tens of thousands of photographs around the world, each year. For the last few years " I don't understand your question. Why would you need to ask for advice? Given your travels and the stated number of pictures, you should have knowledge of what you need. A budget of $600.00????
I just upgraded from a D3200 to a D7500. I love it.

The new Sony HX-99V has a pop up viewfinder and a 24-750 mm Zeiss lens. The new model also shoots RAW if needed. I use a belt pouch to carry mine so I am hands free. And, it fits into your budget and takes exceptional shots. Third photo was taken with previous model, Sony HX-90V.

Have you thought about the Olynpus Tough TG-5; it would withstand the Rainforest? Just a thought.
