Hi all I'm Brooke and this is the first time I have done anything like this and im a little nervous. I have only shared my photos with friends and family before so I'm a little shy when it comes to sharing but am hoping to use this place to get feed back to help me improve.
These are a few of my favorites (This is my dog and nephew in the photos I have permission to use him as my favorite model)
Welcome to UHH Brooke. Good people here. Post away. Looking forward to seeing your images

Welcome to UHH, Brooke. You certainly have come to the right place. Your first uploads are great examples of your work. You have a good eye. Most all the members here will give you excellent critiques to improve your images. Some will give you some cute or funny answers, and others, well, I won't mention them. Disregard those. But, the best advice I can give you is to enjoy UHH, post your images, talk to people here, private message those you would like to get to know better, and above all, HAVE FUN...
Rich...
Welcome to UHH. I love your Amtrak photo. Keep up the good work.
Welcome to the Hog......glad to have you here.
Welcome Brooke, you are off to a very good start. Nice train shot. Enjoy!
Nice shots. We're all shy at first when it comes to posting pictures. Don't worry about it.
Welcome to the forum. Photography is a hobby and it is an art. It takes time to gain experience and my first recommendation would be that you learn the basics of photography if you indeed want to see a significant improvement in your images.
For now use only what you have. Learn your camera and learn not only what the lens can do but also, if using a zoom, learn about those focal lengths setting where you will be shooting more often. That is the first step to buying future lenses.
Posting and asking for advise is going to work in your favor. There are many talented photographers in the forum who are very friendly and they are always eager to help.
Good luck to you.
Hi, Brooke, welcome aboard. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about the forum.
Welcome Brooke, good to have another Floridian on the site.
Welcome Brooke...Nice series of shots...I really like the last shot...the only thing i would suggest is to straighten the photo...it seems to tilt just a little to the right...if you don't have a post processing software there are free ones online as well as programs like Photoshop elements and Lightroom...I prefer Elements myself...
Welcome to the forum Brooke.
