OK.....More out of the way bridges keep coming to mind so will share. A few from our road trip to Canada a couple of years ago & another from Roatan in the Caribbean plus one very old bridge in Hawaii.

We really enjoyed driving from East to West on the Trans-Canada Highway. It was built so people could travel safely through the Rocky Mountains. But it turned out to be the end of safe travel for the animals! So they got smart and created along this highway 44 wildlife crossing structures. Most go under the highway. 6 cross over it....as in bridges! Wished I had captured more pictures, but traveling at 70 MPH....limits what one has time to capture! Also.....not a lot of places to turn around & go back. Please enjoy. Bob

So many beautiful, unique bridges and so little time to comment today. If I didn't get to yours, just know I looked and enjoyed. Thanks to those who noticed mine. I travel this bridge almost daily. The original was a wooden covered bridge that was swept away in raging floods of 1937. It was replaced by the 1st green bridge which rusted away despite many repairs, A couple years ago it was replaced by a new bridge - not very picturesque but much safer. It passes over a major river which starts in the White Mountains of NH and threads its way to the ocean. Along the way are many hydro dams with rather precarious looking "walkway bridges" for the workers. This is what it looks like in winter - it would look like this tonight in the current storm, but I wasn't going out!
