Uhhh.....
I recently (I think) saw an article about herbs for help with dementia, but now I can't remember where I think I saw it.

I think I already posted this but I'm not sure.

If you want to know what to do to have the best chance to avoid Alzheimer's, get the book "The Alzheimer's Solution," a really good plan.
The memory is the second thing to go as we age. The first is...I can't seem to remember it at the moment.
My mother and half-sister both had dementia/Alzheimer's and it is very difficult to watch as a loved one slowly disappears from life.

Amen! And, what hurts the most when comes the day they do not recognize you, their life partner, or any previous friends.
Just recently lost my mother to dementia related issues, mainly forgetting how to swallow food. But we, my wife and I, are currently taking care of my wife's mother with full onset Aszheimer's and it is heartbreaking. Attached is a photo of Nana about 5 years ago titled "The Lighter Side of Alzheimer's".

My father died from issues related to his Alzheimer's. But he kept his sense of humor to the end. He told me a joke every time I visited him, which was 3 or 4 times a week. Sadly, it was the same joke every time. And the week before he passed when my brother and his wife and I and my wife went to visit him, he called my brother and me to his side. He whispered to us: "Where'd you get the blonds?" At this point, my brother had been married for about 17 years and I had been married 26. We were never sure if he had forgotten his daughters-in-law or if he was just pulling our legs.
My mother-in-law was dealing with dementia issues and, unfortunately, her mean side could come out when dealing with the home health care aide. I'll forego the details. It may have been for the best that she suffered a major stroke that ultimately took her life in hospice.

Such a horrible disease, you get to watch a love one die while they're body is still alive!
I think my hair has dementia its forgetting where to grow, it's starting to grow in my ears, up my nose, down my back, on my toes, on my ass anywhere but on my head!
Well, like all living things, hair throwths done root to find food. Might be that your scalp needs fertilization.

I think the OP was making a joke.
But, I totally understand the comments from other posters as I, too, lost my mom to Aszheimer's. Watching her disappear was heart breaking. What is really bad is if it occurs over several years it's really hard to bring back visions of who they were before. The end visions burn into your mind too deeply. Only now (21 years after we lost her) is my memory returning about who she was before.
Someone said something about a mean side emerging. I saw that with her toward my dad. He deserved it, tho, as he had treated her like dirt way too much all their married life. It took only a few days before he threw up his hands in despair.
I'm now the age she was when she passed. So far, so good. Good Lord willing...

Agree wholeheartedly, Alfred.
