Date Line: Puerto Montt, Chile, This picture is of Isla tenglo which is right across the bay and is not a port but a busy fishing village. I found this much more interesting. Day 38 out of 128 days around the world.
It looks like they would be awfully vulnerable to a high wave.
Very nice shot, HD. I was there last fall, and I'm glad to see you too had good weather. Very sharp and colorful -- my only suggestion would be to tone down the blues a bit in PP.
Enjoy the rest of your great adventure!
thanks, I thought someone would suggest my thirds were off. I really thought it was about the day and it really was blue. The locals tell me it really was one of the few good days in a while with rain expected tonight.
Yes, you were lucky with the weather, which is typically gray, chilly and wet in Patagonia.
The composition looks fine to me. As I mentioned, the blue in the boats, roofs, and sky look a little overdone, IMHO. Otherwise I think it's a very good photo, and brings back fond emories.
